Ralph Wachter @ DirtGarden Jam

Some words from Ralph Wachter:

First of all i have to mention that Nikki and his girlfriend did an awesome job in organizing the annual dirtgarden jam.
The jumps were in a perfect condition and they ve also build a satellite dish to give the course a new spicy twist.
Riders from all over Austria, two Czech dudes as well as Amir Kabbani and some other guys from good old germany showed up and presented their moves. Matthias competed in the pro class whereas i only competed in the amateur class. My goal was i to finish last as i'm much more of a trail rider than going for big moves. Unfortunately one of my opponents crashed and i showed more tricks than planned i missed my goal. Matthias went big on the course and unveiled some nice moves on the big line.
in the end Amir Kabbani won pro ahead of Nikki Leitner and Andi Brewi. the best trick award went to one of the Czech riders showing a smooth tailwhip to barspin.

Well here in Vienna summer had a head start and so it was about time to get my ass an my bike!

Right after VAK we had a wicked session with some pros like Martin Söderström and Niki Leitner! Was so cool first time on dirt and it felt like I never left the trails!

Janis @ Tukums City Comp

Setup rider Janis Ozolins sent in some photos from a recent indoor comp in Tukums, Latvia.

Here is his update:

--

Last Saturday, was a indoor park competition. So i take out my new Trek hardtail bike, put in the car and went to Tukums city with my photographer Edgars.

So 10:00 I’m there, and started training. There were many riders, almost 30. In first hour of riding, I broke my chain, but few minuets with tools and I’m back on my wheels. Qualification went good, get the 3rd place, did some nice 180 and 360 flats. In finals, I was quite beat up by practice - hurt my leg, but riding didn’t stop. So finals didn’t went so good as I was expecting, too many falls but ended up with 5 place.

In the end, the riding was great, I’m happy. Get the price from the DJ (carrot and few red bulls) ‘’DJ favorite rider’’ :D

Winter in the Midlands

A new year, a new website and a new update.
A few photos of Jock & Jas in the UK riding the Wintery wonderland biking "mecca" that is Blackrocks, Derbyshire.
Actually quite sentimental about this place - some proper old skool riding. Most of the UK Setup crew grew up riding these trails!
Anyway, looks bloody cold up north - frozen is better than muddy I suppose?

Not sure what the pink body armor is about? Maybe limited edition 661 or has Jock been robbing kids again?
